Went to the Lanscaping exibition at Taman Tasik Perdana to snap some photo. The exibition is just beautiful with so many beautiful flowers. My favourite is the orchid. Happens to be my late farther favourite as well. We sneak out from the office just to go to this place....

KL Festival - Samrah
|
|
In month of July and August, KL will be filled up with the Arabs. They come here to do shopping and holiday. It's a new destination since the September 11. Due to tight security and prejudice look of the european and amercian, they have change thier holiday destination to Asia region. To entertain the Arabs - the tourism held this Samrah Festival. It's basically Arab's dance and song. Not sure why we have this "samrah" - it is more appropriate to show the our cultural dance.....what do you think???

Lot 10 Fashion Show
|
|
First time usage of my D300 at Lot 10 Fashion Show. Since it is indoor, lighting is a challenge. Also have to make do with my Nikkor 18-200 VR lens which is notorious for indoor shooting.

My New Toy.......Nikon D300

I have been aiming for this Nikon D300 since it's launch in 2007. Bought this from a Lelongians from Selangor who used this camera for 2 weeks and decided to upgrade to Nikon D3. Tested the camera, feels good and exchange money at Starbuck, Pavilion. Bought at a very good price that I cannot resist.....aaaaahhhh, there goes my budget for July, August and September. What matters is ....I'am Happy ........until I see my bank account balance.....

Harga Minyak Naik.. aiyooooo

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Wednesday announced that the new price for petrol is RM2.70 a litre, effective midnight tonight. The price goes up by 78sen from the current RM1.92, a hike of 40%. Abdullah also announced that the price of diesel would be increased by RM1 from RM1.58 to RM2.58.
 
Gambar kat atas (Grand Old Lady, Miri, Sarawak) tu adalah the lokasi minyak pertama di jumpa kat Malaysia...sekarang ni dah jadi muzium dah. Its from here Malaysia develop it's oil and gas industry pionered by Shell... then Petronas..then Esso.....and many more.

I have this Kraftangan Malaysia photos since March this year. Taken during the Malaysia Kraftangan fest at Pusat Kraftangan, Kuala Lumpur. I was amazed by the creativity of Malaysian in Kraftangan.
